Όταν μιλάμε για Όσκαρ ξέρουμε από την αρχή πως όλα είναι πιθανά. Μήνες πριν την απονομή κάθε έτους τα προγνωστικά τρέχουν, προσπαθώντας να προβλέψουν νικητές και χαμένους, ωστόσο σχεδόν πάντα υπάρχουν οι εκπλήξεις που ανατρέπουν τα πάντα. Η 94η απονομή των βραβείων της αμερικανικής ακαδημίας κινηματογράφου δεν αποτέλεσε εξαίρεση, με το Όσκαρ καλύτερης ταινίας να αποτελεί τη μεγαλύτερη έκπληξη. Η low-budget ταινία “CODA”, για τη ζωή μιας οικογένειας κωφών, απέσπασε τον πολυπόθητο τίτλο και μας γέμισε ενθουσιασμό.
Οι υποψηφιότητες ήταν πολλές, οι συναγωνιζόμενοι ταλαντούχοι, αλλά το βραβείο ένα σε κάθε κατηγορία. Ακολουθεί η λίστα με τους λαμπερούς υποψήφιους που πήραν το χρυσό αγαλματίδιο στο σπίτι τους τη χθεσινή βραδιά:
