H 92η ετήσια απονομή των βραβείων της Αμερικανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου έλαβε χώρα χθες στο περίφημο Dolby Theatre του Hollywood. Μπορεί να μην είχε παρουσιαστή, παρά ταύτα ήταν από τις καλύτερες διοργανώσεις των τελευταίων ετών, με ξεχωριστές εμφανίσεις στο κόκκινο χαλί, συγκινητικές ομιλίες και εκπλήξεις στο κομμάτι των βραβείων με πρώτη και καλύτερη τη βράβευση του «Parasite».
Το κορεάτικο φιλμ του Μπονγκ Τζουν-χο έγραψε ιστορία ως η πρώτη διεθνής (μη αγγλόφωνη) ταινία στη μακρά πορεία του θεσμού που κερδίζει το κορυφαίο βραβείο για την Καλύτερη Ταινία της χρονιάς. Η ταινία απέσπασε συνολικά τέσσερα βραβεία (τα περισσότερα της βραδιάς): Καλύτερης Ταινίας, Καλύτερης Διεθνούς Ταινίας, Σκηνοθεσίας και Πρωτότυπου Σεναρίου.
Το «1917» του Σαμ Μέντες είναι ο δεύτερος μεγάλος νικητής της βραδιάς με 3 συνολικά Όσκαρ (Φωτογραφίας, Μιξάζ Ήχου και Οπτικών Εφέ). Από 2 Όσκαρ κέρδισαν το «Joker» (Α’ Ανδρικό για τον Χοακίν Φίνιξ & Μουσικής), το «Κάποτε στο Χόλιγουντ» (Β’ Ανδρικό για τον Μπραντ Πιτ & Σκηνικών) και το «Ford v. Ferrari» (Μοντάζ & Μοντάζ Ήχου).
Το χρυσό αγαλματίδιο του Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου κατέκτησε η Ρενέ Ζελβέγκερ για την ταινία «Judy» και τη σπουδαία ερμηνεία της ως Τζούντι Γκάρλαντ στο βιογραφικό φιλμ του Rupert Goold, ενώ η Λόρα Ντερν κέρδισε το Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου για την «Ιστορία γάμου» (η πρώτη βράβευση ηθοποιού ταινίας του Netflix στην ιστορία του θεσμού).
