Vogue Polska has been published since February 2018, becoming the twenty-third local edition of Vogue, with Filip Niedenthal as editor-in-chief. One of the super powers behind this successful launch, Filip Niedenthal embodies the “modern gentleman”, according to the international press.
Niedenthal’s impressive resume includes a successful career as executive fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar Polska, editor-in-chief of travel magazine Podroze, in addition to key editorial roles in leading Polish titles Twoj Styl and Viva. Graduate of London College of Fashion and The British School Warsaw, Niedenthal was also the studio manager of photographer Francesco Carrozzini.
With many impressive covers, including the very first issue by Jürgen Teller, which presented the Polish capital in a very special way, Vogue Polska has managed to steal the heart of readers worldwide.
“Love, Intimacy, Tenderness, Touch, Care, Perseverance, Unity” is written on Vogue Polska’s latest cover, during those difficult times. “It’s about being close despite limitations. The horror of the current situation is impossible to ignore, but solace is to be found in our loved ones. Even if we can’t see them, let alone embrace them” Filip Niedenthal explains in the editorial letter of May/June 2020 issue.
