Bιωσιμότητα: H νέα θέση της Emma Watson στη μόδα

Για την Emma Watson το ζήτημα της κλιματικής αλλαγής και η ανάγκη για δράση δεν είναι κάτι που ξεκίνησε τώρα. Εδώ και μερικά χρόνια, συμμετέχει σε διάφορες πρωτοβουλίες με σκοπό να κινητοποιήσει τον κόσμο, μεταξύ αυτών και η εμφάνισή της στο Met Gala το 2016, όπου και φόρεσε φόρεμα Calvin Klein (σε συνεργασία με την οργάνωση Eco-Age) κατασκευασμένο από ανακυκλωμένα μπουκάλια. Λίγο αργότερα, το 2017, κατά τη διάρκεια tour για την ταινία Beauty and the Beast, η ηθοποιός επέλεξε μόνο βιώσιμα brands, ενώ ενσωμάτωσε στα σύνολά της sustainable pieces από γνωστούς οίκους όπως Givenchy, Phillip Lim, Louis Vuitton, Emilia Wickstead και Elie Saab. Επιπλέον, για την ίδια ταινία η Watson δούλεψε με στιλίστες για να επιτευχθεί η ηθική κατασκευή των κοστουμιών.

Στη συνέχεια, έγινε πρέσβειρα της Good On You, οργάνωση που προάγει και ενισχύει  τη δράση των ηθικών brands. Τέλος, σημαντικό είναι να αναφερθεί, πως η ηθοποιός είναι ενεργή και σε ζητήματα ισότητας των φύλων, ξεκινώντας την πρωτοβουλία HeForShe, με σκοπό να εξασφαλίσει την παγκόσμια εδραίωση των δικαιωμάτων των γυναικών.
